Nassau Airport Taxi Rates, Uber and Private Transfers
The honest answer is not that one option is always best. Compare the airport’s published taxi fares with a pre-arranged private transfer, then choose the fit for your party, luggage and arrival.
Is Uber available in Nassau?
Uber does not currently list Nassau or The Bahamas in its official cities directory. That is narrower than saying no local ride-sharing service exists: transport offerings can change, and LPIA refers to ride-sharing services generally without naming Uber.
Do not make an unconfirmed Uber pickup your only plan from NAS. Use an airport taxi, reserve a private transfer, rent a car, or verify another service before you land.

LPIA says taxis are available outside its US, International and Domestic terminals. These are the airport’s published base zone fares for three common QLT hotel areas.

Taxi fares are based on two passengers. LPIA currently lists US $5 for each additional passenger, US $2.20 for each additional luggage piece beyond the stated allowance, and US $3.30 for oversized bags, golf bags or boxes. Confirm the total before leaving the airport.

Is Uber available in Nassau, Bahamas?
